League Guidelines
Doubles League
Official DCTX doubles league rules, format, and eligibility guidelines.

Location & Schedule
League at Clicks Billiards in Arlington, Texas (21+ only). Teams must commit to participating on scheduled Saturdays between 11am–6pm.

Entry & Costs
- $100 full entry fee required.
- $50 minimum deposit to register.
- Remaining balance due by Week 1.
- Each match costs $30 per team.
- Entry fees are nonrefundable after the season begins.

Competition Format
- 8 Ball Scotch Doubles with handicapped races determined by combined Fargo ratings.
- League may split into two divisions (high/low tier) depending on team count.
- Each team plays every opponent at least once during the season.

Fargo Ratings & Adjustments
- Teams must stay at or under the Fargo cap with a 20-point cushion per season.
- If a team exceeds this, they can replace a player or accept a one-game penalty per match for every 20 points over the limit.

Playoff Structure
- All teams make the double-elimination playoff tournament as long as those teams completed all their matches and paid all their fees.
- Playoff winners receive the grand prize: a fully-paid Vegas trip to BCA Nationals, a cruise, or cash.

Player Eligibility
- Players need either an established Fargo rating (minimum 200 games) or APA ranking.
- Both team members must reside in the DFW area.
- The league qualifies players for BCA State and National events.

Incentives
- Qualifying teams (those completing their monthly match schedule with all fees paid) earn 5 bonus points monthly.
- Raffle entries for prizes including tournament entries and gift cards.

Grand Prizes
- Expenses paid trip to Las Vegas for BCA Nationals Scotch Doubles Tournament.
- Cruise for 2.
- Money.

How to Win
The team that finishes in first place in the session automatically wins a Grand Prize. All the other teams will battle it out in the Playoff Tournament for all the other prizes.
