9-Ball

Official DCTX 9-ball tournament rules and guidelines.

01 Breaking Rules
  1. The break must be taken from the box with the 1 ball on the spot and the 2 ball in the back.
  2. Players may use their own rack templates if desired.
  3. If you foul on the break such as a miscue, it’s your opponent’s option to break.
  4. The 9 ball does not count when positioned in the racking corners.
  5. Should a player make the 9 on the break in those corners without fouling, it is then spotted and the player keeps shooting.
02 Push Rule
  1. Players have the option to push after the break.
  2. If a player pushes, their opponent may either shoot from that position or return the shot.
  3. If returned, play passes to the next person in the rotation rather than back to the original breaker.
  4. Example: In a team match (Team 1: Players A & B vs Team 2: Players C & D), if Player A breaks and pushes, Player C can return it to Player B. This means Player C forfeits their turn, so the next Team 2 player to shoot would be Player D.
03 Refund Policy

Full refunds available before the online bonus begins. No refund after the online bonus starts.
