8-Ball

Official DCTX 8-ball tournament rules and guidelines.

01 Breaking Rules
  1. You cannot win or lose on the break.
  2. If a miscue occurs during the break, the opponent may choose to break instead.
  3. The 8 ball does not count on the break.
  4. Should the 8 ball be pocketed on the break, the shooter can either spot it and continue or request a re-rack with the same player breaking again.
  5. If the 8 and cue ball both drop on the break with a foul, the opponent may spot the 8 and take ball in hand or request a re-rack to break.
02 After the Break
  1. A scratch on the 8 results in ball in hand for the opponent, unless both the cue and 8 ball drop — which constitutes a loss.
  2. Early 8 at any time is a loss.
  3. Sinking the 8 in an incorrect pocket results in losing the game.
  4. If a player shoots any shot and the 8 ball comes off the table (after the break), this is a loss of game.
03 Refund Policy

Refund Cutoff

100% refund before the online bonus starts. No refund after the online bonus starts.

  1. No-shows receive no refund.
